Interior Design

Inside, the Proton S70 focuses on comfort and function. The dashboard uses a clean, horizontal layout with piano-style air-conditioning controls. Soft-touch materials enhance key areas such as the dash and door panels, making the cabin feel premium.

In terms of storage, it’s practical. You’ll find a wireless charging pad and various compartments for daily use.

• Executive: Fabric seats, manual air-conditioning, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a 3.25-inch monochrome display.
• Premium: Adds leatherette seats and automatic climate control with rear vents.
• Flagship & Flagship X: Come with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch digital meter panel, a wireless charger, 6-way powered driver seat, and 6 speakers.

Exterior Design

On the outside, the S70 looks sharp and mature. It takes inspiration from the Geely Emgrand but adds Proton’s unique touches, such as the songket-pattern grille and rear LED light bar. Designed under Peter Horbury’s guidance, it has a bold and muscular appearance.

Safety & Performance

All S70 variants use the same powertrain—a 1.5-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine with 150 PS and 226 Nm torque. This is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. It reaches 0-100 km/h in about 9 seconds, delivering a good balance of power and fuel efficiency.

Standard safety across all models includes:
